AI is expected to greatly transform jobs for Pakistani youth in the coming years. Traditional roles that require repetitive tasks like data entry, customer service and simple office work, can be automated using AI systems. While this will have a negative impact on working in certain industries, it will also open new job roles in technology, digital marketing, software development, cybersecurity and data science. AI is both a challenge and an opportunity for the young people of Pakistan. The future job market will offer greater opportunities to young people who are mastering new digital skills and learning how to use AI tools.
With AI assisting in speeding up and improving the way individuals perform their work, freelancing, online enterprises and remote jobs are also projected to rise. Meanwhile, other human abilities, such as creativity, communication, leadership and problem-solving, will grow significantly because AI cannot replace them entirely. AI can be a great asset to Pakistan’s vast youth if they are educated and trained properly.
