Three arrested for cattle theft

Chuhng Police arrested three members of a cattle theft gang during an intelligence-based operation near Shahpur livestock market.

The arrested individuals were identified as Ghulam Mustafa, Usman and Hussain. Police said a stolen buffalo, a calf, a pickup truck used in the crime, and weapons were recovered from their possession. A case has been registered against the suspects.

Meanwhile, Ghalib Market Police claimed to have arrested two women allegedly involved in pickpocketing targeting shoppers in commercial areas of the city. The suspects, identified as Sana and Kanwal, were allegedly planning another theft at a boutique located on MM Alam Road. A case was registered.
