Man kills son over property dispute

TOBA TEK SINGH: A man killed his son over a property dispute at Chak 315/GB on Sunday. Police said schoolteacher Dilshad Hussain (40) exchanged harsh words with his father Mukhtar Ahmad (71). In the meantime, Mukhtar allegedly axed his son Dilshad to death. After the murder, the accused remained present in his house and Chuttiana police took him into custody.

KIDNAPPED CHILD FOUND DEAD: The remains of a kidnapped child were recovered from a graveyard at Chak 279/JB, Gojra tehsil, on Sunday. According to police, 12-year-old Arham Zahid had gone missing from his home on April 29, after which Nawan Lahore police registered a kidnapping case against unidentified suspects. In the FIR, the boy’s father, Zahid, stated that his son had gone out of the house to play in a street, but did not return home. The police said the child’s remains were recovered from the village graveyard and shifted to the THQ Hospital, Gojra, for autopsy.
