Three injured in Karak gas line fire

KARAK: A huge fire erupted after a blast ruptured a main gas transmission line in the mountainous Seri Khawah area of Karak, leaving three persons injured.

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Imran Khan, a survey blader machine belonging to Mari Petroleum Company struck the gas pipeline during work, causing the pipeline to rupture and immediately caught fire.He said that three persons sustained injuries in the blaze and were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The DPO said that the fire was brought under control after rescue operations, while further investigations into the incident were underway.
