Rawalpindi:The Rawalpindi district administration organised a grand ceremony at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq to commemorate the historic victory and pay tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces.
A large number of MNAs and MPAs, political and social figures, civil society representatives, youth, families and citizens attended the event with enthusiasm. Participants expressed solidarity with the armed forces and demonstrated strong national spirit, unity and patriotism throughout the ceremony.
The Rawalpindi Development Authority’s Horticulture Agency played a key role in organising the event. The stadium was decorated with colourful lights, national flags and elaborate arrangements, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the participants.
Authorities ensured strict security measures, along with comprehensive arrangements for traffic management, parking, cleanliness and public convenience to provide a safe and peaceful environment for attendees.
Renowned singers Farhan Saeed and Mustafa Zahid captivated the audience with energetic performances featuring patriotic songs and popular tracks. Their performances generated immense enthusiasm, with the stadium echoing with patriotic slogans and national fervour.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the night sky and received widespread appreciation from the audience.
