Islamabad: The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has announced a free mobile repairing course for women under the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) initiative aimed at promoting women’s empowerment through technical education and skills development.
According to an official advertisement, the training programme will be conducted at the Government Polytechnic Institute for Women in H-8/1, Islamabad. The initiative has been launched under the theme “Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Vision: Empowered and Successful Women -- Step by Step,” with officials describing it as part of broader efforts to equip women with market-oriented technical skills and encourage self-reliance through vocational education.
The advertisement stated that women aged between 18 and 40 years with a minimum matric qualification are eligible to apply for the course. The last date for applications is May 15. Officials said the programme formed part of the NAVTTC’s wider quality training initiative aimed at expanding employment opportunities and strengthening technical education for Pakistani youth, particularly women. They said applications could be submitted online through the NAVTTC’s official platforms.
