Rawalpindi:Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Rawalpindi City will hold a large rally on Monday to express solidarity with the armed forces and pay tribute to their sacrifices for the defence of the country.
The rally will commence at 3pm from Liaquat Bagh and proceed along Murree Road under the leadership of PPP Punjab President Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. The decision to organize the rally was made during a meeting chaired by PPP Rawalpindi City President Mian Khurram Rasool, General Secretary Asif Akbar, and Punjab Vice President Rana Rafaqat Ali Khan.
According to party organizers, the rally is aimed at acknowledging the services, sacrifices and commitment of the armed forces in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and security. PPP Rawalpindi City leadership has urged party workers and supporters to ensure maximum participation to demonstrate national unity and solidarity with the armed forces.
