CHITRAL: University of Chitral has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Baku State University to promote academic cooperation and strengthen international educational ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
The MoU was signed at a ceremony by Rector Prof Dr Elchin Babayev of Baku State University and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Chitral, Prof Dr Hazirullah. Vice Rector and Dean of Oriental Studies Prof Dr Aydan Khaldan was also present on the occasion.
According to the agreement, both universities will collaborate on joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange programmes, academic mobility, capacity-building activities, and the organisation of conferences and seminars in areas of mutual interest.
Speaking on the occasion, the rector of Baku State University and the vice-chancellor of the University of Chitral expressed confidence that the collaboration would open new vistas for knowledge exchange and global academic networking.
