Earthquake jolts capital, parts of KP

ISLAMABAD: An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 struck Islamabad, Peshawar, and several other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday, the Seismic Monitoring Centre said.

The quake was recorded at a depth of 125 kilometres. The monitoring centre said the epicentre was located in the border region between Tajikistan and China. No immediate reports of damage or casualties were received following the tremors.
