LAHORE : Two people, including a woman, were killed while a young child sustained injuries in two separate traffic accidents.
In the first incident, a 21-year old man lost his life in a collision involving a motorcycle, a car and a rickshaw near the LDA Avenue signal on Raiwind Road. Rescue officials said the victim, identified as Abdul Hadi, son of Javed, died on the spot. His body was later handed over to the police.
In a separate incident on Ferozepur Road near Suay Asal, a woman died and a child injured when a motorcycle reportedly slipped. The deceased was identified as 45-year old Parveen, wife of Mushtaq, while a six-year old child, Usman, sustained injuries.
Rescue officials shifted the injured child to hospital, while the body of the deceased woman was handed over to her family.
