Prolonged and unannounced power outages have become a daily ordeal in Balochistan. Extended power cuts amidst the scorching heat have made life extremely difficult, particularly for students, patients and working individuals. Students are unable to concentrate on their studies, small businesses are facing severe losses and hospitals struggle to provide essential services. In many areas, electricity is unavailable for long hours, further deepening the sense of neglect among the residents. This persistent crisis reflects poor management and a lack of serious attention towards the province. Despite being rich in natural resources, Balochistan continues to suffer from basic infrastructure issues such as electricity shortages.
It is high time the authorities take immediate and effective measures to ensure a stable and uninterrupted power supply in Balochistan. Fair distribution of resources and transparent policies are essential to address this long-standing issue.
