The streets of Hub are no longer safe, as a surge in robberies continues to threaten innocent lives. These incidents not only harm individuals but also expose the inefficiency of local law enforcement. Whenever a citizen becomes a victim and visits a police station, they often find nothing but disappointment, feeling entirely abandoned by those meant to protect them. Meanwhile, robberies and other criminal activities continue unchecked, creating an atmosphere of insecurity across the city. As a result, the daily lives of residents and local businesses are being negatively affected. It has reached a point where citizens cannot carry essential items such as cellphones or cash, as robbers frequently target anyone perceived as wealthy.
Alarmingly, safety within the home is no longer guaranteed either, with several reports of intruders breaking into houses and robbing families. This situation raises critical questions: Why are these criminals allowed to walk freely on our streets? If immediate and effective measures are not taken, the situation may worsen further. It is imperative for the Hub police to take serious notice, restore law and order and rebuild public trust.
