Cellphone snatched from university student

LAHORE: A cellphone was snatched from a university student near Wafaqi Colony on Canal Road in the jurisdiction of Johar Town police station.

Reportedly, Ahmad Bashir, son of senior journalist Rana Irfan Akbar, along with his friend was on his way on a motorbike in the area adjacent to Wafaqi Colony around 7pm on April 27. 

He briefly took his phone out of his pocket to check it when a person riding on a motorbike, coming from behind, snatched his phone and ran away. 

Ahmad immediately contacted 15 and he was asked to visit the police station. Police have registered a case.
