KHAR: Two persons were killed when unidentified armed men opened fire on them in the Mamond tehsil of Bajaur district on Tuesday, police officials said.
They said that the incident took place in the Kamarser Bazaar, where the armed attackers opened fire, killing Muhammad Rasool and Inayat, on the spot.
After the attack, the assailants managed to flee the scene. Police officials said that a search operation has been launched in the surrounding areas to trace and arrest those involved. Law-enforcement officials have cordoned off the area and begun collecting evidence.
