Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has appreciated the enduring contributions of the Parsi community for the development of the country.
According to a statement issued on Sunday, the minister addressed an event in Karachi, in which he said the Parsi community remained a source of inspiration for him and his family had always had close relations with the community.
He acknowledged the services of the Parsi community for the development of Karachi stating that Parsis had been contributing to Karachi’s progress for the last 133 years. Speaking about Karachi, the federal minister said Karachi was a beautiful city that had produced countless talented individuals. “I am hopeful that Karachi will see good times again, and people will return to contribute to its growth and development,” he said.
The event concluded with acknowledgment of the Parsi community’s historic role in shaping Karachi’s social and economic landscape and their continued commitment to Pakistan’s progress.
