Over 500 get treatment at free medical camp

GHALLANAI: The Malgari Doctoran, Pakhtunkhwa chapter, organised a free medical camp where much-needed healthcare services were provided to the local population in Dab Koroona in Michini area of Mohmand district on Monday.

A team of qualified consultants from several specialties, including Gynaecology and Dentistry, participated in the camp. More than 500 patients were examined and treated, while free medicines were also distributed among the attendees.

Central secretary general Malgari Doctoran, Dr Rohail, and provincial president, Dr Kashif Ali Khan, were present on the occasion who highlighted the importance of such initiatives in underserved areas.

Manan Momand, Member of the Central Working Committee of Awami National Party, played a key role as host. He remained present throughout the camp, warmly welcomed the visiting doctors, and facilitated the smooth organisation of the event.

Office-bearers of the ANP District Mohmand, including former lawmaker Nisar Mohmand and tehsil president Arshad Khan also visited the camp. The Khudai Khidmatgar Organisation, Mohmand district, participated in managing the camp as well.
