PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Syed Fakhar Jehan on Monday said that the provincial government was taking practical steps in various sectors to ensure public welfare with special focus on the provision of basic facilities, including health, education, infrastructure, and other essential services.
He was addressing local elders, community leaders, and party workers during his visit to various areas of Bajkata in PK-26 constituency in Buner, said an official handout here.
He said that under the ongoing development process of the provincial government, effective measures were being taken to ensure the provision of basic facilities to remote areas, while development projects for public welfare were actively underway across different sectors in Buner district.
The minister said that the policies of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government were based on transparency, merit, and the rule of law, and that public service was being advanced in accordance with these principles. He added that the provincial government was taking serious and practical steps to meet public expectations.
He said that result-oriented efforts would also be made in Bajkata as well as other areas of PK-26 Buner to address public issues, ensuring that no sector was deprived of development.
