In today’s fast-paced and stressful world, many individuals are silently suffering from mental health problems. Academic pressure, unemployment, social media comparison and family expectations are pushing young people towards depression. Sadly, most people do not talk about such issues due to fear of judgment. Depression is not just sadness; it is a serious condition that affects a person’s thoughts, behaviour and daily life. Ignoring it can lead to harmful consequences for individuals and society.
It is the responsibility of schools, families and the government to spread awareness about mental health. Counselling services should be available in educational institutions and people should be encouraged to speak openly and without fear. I hope steps will be taken to support those who are silently struggling.
