LANDIKOTAL: Provincial Assembly Member Sahibzada Muhammad Adnan Qadri on Friday directed officials to ensure improved sanitation, healthcare, accommodation, and other essential facilities for Afghan refugees at the transit camp.
He issued these directives during his visit to an Afghan refugee transit camp to review the facilities being provided there, officials said.Assistant Commissioner Inamullah Khan Wazir, Tehsildar Taimur Afridi, and focal person Maulana Muhammad Shoaib Qadri accompanied him.
The MPA met with officials and Afghan citizens waiting to return to their native country and listened to their concerns and challenges. He assured them that immediate steps would be taken to address their issues.
Adnan Qadri directed officials to pay special attention to arrangements related to sanitation, healthcare, accommodation, and other basic facilities.He directed the relevant authorities to resolve the problems faced by the refugees on a priority basis, warning that any negligence or shortcomings would not be tolerated. Transit camp officials briefed Adnan Qadri on the camp’s administrative matters and ongoing measures.
