LAHORE: Pakistan-born global health expert Prof Tehmina Mustafa from the University of Bergen visited the University of Health Sciences Lahore (UHS) on Thursday and called for deeper research collaboration, stronger grant culture, and enhanced clinical trial capacity between Pakistan and Norway.
Prof Mustafa met Vice Chancellor Prof Ahsan WaheedRathore during her visit. She was accompanied by DrAtiqaAmbreen. The meeting was attended by Acting Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof SidrahSaleem, Registrar Kiran Fatima, Director International Linkages DrMidhat Salman, Head of Physiotherapy Department Dr Gull Mahnoor, and other faculty members.
Professor of Internal Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Bergen and consultant pulmonologist at Haukeland University Hospital, Prof Mustafa highlighted equity in health and academic and research capacity building as key priorities.
