ISLAMABAD: The federal government has issued orders for appointments, transfers, and extensions in the federal bureaucracy.

According to separate notifications issued by the Establishment Division, the appointment of Lieutenant General (Retd) Muhammad Chiragh Haider as Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Production has been extended. The extension is effective from March 5, 2026, until the appointment of a new secretary.

Additionally, Khalida Bashir, Joint Secretary of the Climate Change Division, has been transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary of the Poverty Alleviation Division.

Furthermore, Section Officer Ghulam Farid has been transferred from the National Food Security Division to the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination.

Deputy Secretary Imtiaz Asghar Siddiqui has been transferred from the Ministry of Defence, Rawalpindi, to the Prime Minister’s Office, Islamabad.

Muhammad Saleem, a senior journalist (Grade-1) of APP, has been appointed as Section Officer in the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination.

Moreover, OSD Shoaib Hasan has been appointed as Section Officer in the Maritime Affairs Division, while Section Officer Imran Ali has been transferred from the National Health Division to the Maritime Affairs Division.

Additionally, the deputation of Ahsan Munir Bhatti, an Office Management Group officer of Grade-18 posted in the Punjab government, has been extended until January 5, 2027.

The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications for these appointments and transfers.
