FAISALABAD: Interloop Holdings and Interloop Welfare Trust has launched Shifa International Hospital Faisalabad in collaboration with Shifa International Hospitals, marking a major development in the city’s healthcare sector.
In the first phase, the hospital will begin operations with 166 beds, offering multiple medical specialties along with a modern emergency department. Upon completion, the facility will expand to a total capacity of 423 beds, providing advanced healthcare services to patients.
The hospital will be managed and medically supervised by Shifa International Hospitals Ltd., with a team of experienced doctors and paramedical staff.
Interloop Chairman Musadaq Zulqarnain said that once fully operational, the hospital would eliminate the need for Faisalabad residents to travel to Lahore or Islamabad for quality treatment. He emphasised that access to quality healthcare is essential for sustainable economic development and that the facility aims to deliver internationally recognised medical services at the local level.
He further said that the project also includes plans to obtain accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI) to ensure global standards in healthcare delivery.
