LAHORE:Partly cloudy weather continued in the City here on Tuesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
The average AQI of the City was 75, which fell in the category of moderate while the PM2.5 concentration was 4.4 times the World Health Organisation annual PM2.5 guideline value.
Met officials said a westerly wave was affecting western and upper parts of the country and likely to persist in upper parts.
They predicted that partly cloudy and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country. However, partly cloudy weather with light rain-wind/thunderstorm was expected at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Mithi where mercury reached 40°C while in Lahore it was 23°C.
