Our country is facing a huge inflation problem these days. Now, the local petrol price is touching the sky due to the US-Israel war on Iran. Our incumbent government suddenly increased petrol prices by Rs55 per litre last week, which is very hard to digest. Everyone is in a shocked condition and ordinary people are worried about how they are going to survive. While the government has also announced holidays for schools, a shift to online classes and a four-day working week for government offices, it remains to be seen whether these fuel conservation measures will actually help. If the price of petrol cannot be controlled, ordinary people will face huge problems going forward.
