DIR: A special police team was formed to recover a child who was kidnapped from Dubandu area of Upper Dir recently.A complainant Jawadullah, son of Tahsil Khan, a resident of Dubando, reported to Dir City Police Station that his nephew Muhammad Ayanullah was abducted by unidentified accused recently.
The abductors, he said, were demanding a ransom of Rs5 lakh for the release of the child.DPO, Upper Dir, Aslam Nawaz took notice of the incident and formed a special investigation team led by SDPO Circle Dir to recover the child.
The police team was taking action using modern scientific methods, technical tracing, roadblocks, and conducting search operations to locate the suspects and recover the child safely. The team was working diligently to ensure the child’s safe return.Aslam Nawaz warned the suspects to release the child immediately, or face arrest and legal action. He assured that the safety and security of citizens was the top priority for the police.
