A man allegedly shot dead his elder brother and injured himself during a personal dispute in Korangi’s Mehran Town. The incident occurred at a house in Sector 6, within the jurisdiction of the Korangi Industrial Area police station.
According to the police, two brothers, 30-year-old Nazeer and 40-year-old Arif Nawaz, sustained gunshot wounds during the altercation. Both were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment, where Arif Nawaz succumbed to his injuries.
The police said Nazeer, who reportedly suffered from epilepsy, had a personal dispute with his elder brother Arif. During the argument, Nazeer opened fire, critically wounding Arif, and later shot himself. Nazeer had been taken into custody and was receiving treatment.
