MT Khan Road and Mai Kolachi Road, both inbound and outbound lanes, were closed for traffic once again due to security concerns, according to traffic police on Wednesday.
Officials confirmed that traffic coming from PIDC had been diverted towards Khajoor Chowk. Meanwhile, vehicles arriving from Mai Kolachi were being given a U-turn and sent back. In addition, vehicles coming from Jinnah Bridge had been redirected to II Chundrigar Road. Commuters travelling from Jinnah Bridge towards Clifton or PIDC had been advised to use the route via II Chundrigar Road, Shaheen Complex, and PIDC Road to reach their destinations.
