PESHAWAR: The chief justice of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) has ordered the transfers and postings of 47 civil judges, including four senior civil judges, across various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The orders also included the appointment of 12 recently recruited judges, while several postings have been made against vacant positions. The decisions were announced through separate notifications issued by the PHC.
According to the notifications, Senior Civil Judge Dir Upper Khalid Anwar has been transferred to Mansehra, while Naeemullah Jadun has been posted from Upper Kohistan to Upper Dir.
Senior Civil Judge Shaukat Hussain has been transferred from Mansehra to Upper Kohistan (Dasu), while Ms Quratul Ain has been appointed as Senior Civil Judge against a vacant post in Charsadda district.
Among the civil judges transferred, Noorul Haq has been moved from Mansehra to Kalaya in Orakzai, Muhammad Raees from Dargai (Malakand) to Drosh in Lower Chitral, Riaz Ahmad from Swabi to Thall in Hangu, Muhammad Ashfaq from Abbottabad to Lal Qila in Lower Dir, and Muhammad Ishaq Marwat from Karak to Dargai.
Similarly, Abdul Qayyum Khan has been transferred from Peshawar to Balakot in Mansehra, Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan from Chakdara to Matta in Swat, Muhammad Junaid Alam from Kalaya (Orakzai) to Takht Nusrati, Muhammad Latif Shah from Takht Nusrati to Abbottabad, and Atiq Rafiq from Malakand to Karak.
Khurram Shahzad has been transferred from Matta (Swat) to Chakdara (Lower Dir), Liaqat Khan from Lal Qila to Takht Nusrati (Swat), Muhammad Haris Nisar from Dera Ismail Khan to Peshawar, Haroon Rashid from Mansehra to Khyber, Muhammad Kashif Khan from Swat to Haripur, and Arbab Waheed Alam from Swabi to Drosh in Chitral.
Amal Khair Fatima has been transferred from Abbottabad to Kohat, Meena Qaiser from Kohat to Mardan, and Hina Gul from Mardan to Malakand.
The notifications further stated that Shafiq-ul-Amin has been posted to Takht Bhai, Sohrab Ahmad to Dera Ismail Khan, Arshad Saeed to Topi (Swabi), Naseemullah to Abbottabad, Sajjad Khan to Dera Ismail Khan, Ahmad Rashid to Lachi (Kohat), and Tashfeen Aziz to Kabal (Swat).
Other postings included Ihtisham-ul-Haq to Shangla, Muhammad Khan to Puran (Shangla), Farukhanda Shaheen to Takht Bhai, Aitizaz Hassan to Abbottabad, Soumia Kazmi to Mardan, Waqar Ahmad to Dera Ismail Khan, Muhammad Asad Kamal to Swabi, Kokab Ihsan to Mansehra, Shah Sawar Younas Khan to Battagram, and Junaid Amir to Mansehra.
Additionally, Aiman Bashir, Zara Ishtiaq Siddiq, and others have been posted to Abbottabad, while Fatima Bibi and Sikandar Hayat have been posted to Peshawar. Muhammad Hamza Zakir has been posted to Swabi, Uzma Umar to Swat, and Muhammad Hamza to Sadda in Kurram.
The transfers and postings will take effect immediately, according to the notifications.
