LAHORE : The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore, under the vision of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz, will launch a Free Home Delivery of Plants service from to make the city greener. Citizens can book plants by calling the PHA Helpline 1399 between 8:00am and 4:00pm, after which a PHA gardener will visit their homes and plant the sapling.
These details were shared by PHA Lahore Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmed during a meeting attended by the horticulture directors on Saturday.
PHA Lahore MD further stated that ADG Headquarters Waheed Butt has been appointed as the focal person for the Spring Tree Plantation Campaign.
According to the PHA MD, the free home delivery of plants is a unique initiative by PHA Lahore in line with the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab, aimed at increasing the number of trees in Lahore. He expressed hope that citizens will actively participate in the campaign and take care of the planted saplings so they can grow properly. This initiative will help address environmental challenges such as pollution, smog, and climate change.
