LAHORE : A landmark partnership has been forged between the Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) and the ACTIVIT Welfare Foundation, aimed at promoting a holistic lifestyle for the city’s youth by combining arts, culture, sports, fitness, and wellness.

The collaboration was formalised through an MoU signed by Alhamra Executive Director M Nawaz Gondal and Rizwan Aftab Ahmed CEO ACTIVIT Welfare Foundation and Director at National Hospital DHA Lahore. The agreement sets the stage for coordinated initiatives that blend creative expression with physical activity, ensuring young people have access to both cultural enrichment and health-focused programmes.

Under the partnership, both organisations will introduce programmes in sports science and clinical nutrition to support young athletes, arts and cultural engagement to nurture creativity alongside discipline, wellness education and fitness training to encourage healthier routines.

The initiative is designed to help youth adopt balanced lifestyles, enhancing both their physical performance and creative potential.

Gondal stressed the importance of integrating cultural enrichment with physical development, noting that the combination can foster a more energetic, disciplined, and well-rounded generation.

Rizwan Aftab highlighted the foundation’s expertise in health, fitness, and sports, which will be central to delivering practical training, nutrition awareness, and wellness education.
