SWABI: A man and his son were killed in a tragic firing incident in the Gadoon Utla area here on Friday.Police officials said that unidentified assailants opened fire on Jamshed Khan and his son Farman Zeb and fled the scene. Both victims died on the spot.
Their bodies were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Topi for medico-legal formalities.Police reached the site soon after receiving information and launched an investigation. Initial findings suggest that the incident may be the result of an old enmity; however, investigations are continuing from all angles. No FIR had been registered till the filing of this report. Police sources said that Farman Zeb was a local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
