Islamabad : The Islamic Society of IMCG (PG), F-7/4 organized a spiritually uplifting ceremony to commemorate ‘Jashn-e-Nuzul-e-Quran’ on Friday, marking the blessed advent of the Holy Month of Ramazan.
The proceedings commenced with a reverent recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by soulful Na‘at and the National Anthem, setting a serene and devotional tone for the event. The occasion was graced by the esteemed chief guest, Professor Farzana Gillani.
The Islamic Society’s commitment to promoting Quranic teachings was evident throughout the programme. A heartfelt poetic rendition was presented, after which Alfalah Manzil Trust was formally introduced.
The Trust, working since 2006, is a beacon of modern Quranic education, dedicated to disseminating the teachings of the Holy Quran through innovative pedagogical methods led by highly qualified and skilled educators. It regularly organizes Quran and Arabic language courses to spread the light of Islam. In 2025, with the support of the worthy Principal, Ayesha Kayani, three successful Quran classes titled QC-I, QC-II, and QC-III were conducted.
In her inspiring address, the chief guest highlighted the importance of integrating the teachings of the Holy Quran into everyday life and emphasized the need to recite the Quran with proper Tajweed.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prizes to the successful participants of QC-II and QC-III, jointly presented by Professor Farzana Gillani and Principal Ayesha Kayani. The Principal expressed her delight at the successful completion of the Quran classes and assured the audience that similar educational and spiritual initiatives would continue in the future.
