MANSEHRA: Students and faculty members of Hazara University on Wednesday took out a rally to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day, reaffirming their support for the people of Indian-held Kashmir.
“We stand with our brethren in their peaceful struggle for freedom in Indian-occupied Kashmir and demand an immediate plebiscite, which is pending since the United Nations passed the resolution in 1949,” Vice-Chancellor Hazara University Dr Ikramullah Khan told the rally.Addressing the participants, Dr Ikramullah said the sacrifices rendered by the people of Indian-held Kashmir would never go in vain.
