PESHAWAR: The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday ordered the release on bail of an accused arrested in connection with the alleged killing of a young man following an altercation in Mardan.
A three-member bench comprising Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, Justice Shafi Siddiqui and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the bail petition.The accused, Salman, was represented by his counsel Syed Mubashir Shah.
According to the prosecution, the accused, Salman, and another, Dawood, had allegedly opened fire and killed Umair, in the jurisdiction of Jabbar Police Station in Mardan on May 28, 2025.
