Islamabad: A large number of affecttees of Islamabad who staged a big protest demonstration at site of Sector H-16 on Thursday vowed to resist every action of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) take over possession of their inherited land.
The affectees of Sector H-16 hosted affected people of Sector C-13, C-16, D-13, E-12 and F-13 to express solidarity against the CDA.
The affecttees refused to receive cheques of compensation for their lands as per award of the year 2008 from the Deputy Commissioner CDA and demanded announcement of fresh 2025 award.
The representatives of affectees demanded announcement of 2025 award as per the fresh market value. They also refused to accept assessment of land through Google and Suparco. “Neither we shall allow any operation nor give possession of land to CDA,” they said.
The affectees, earlier, had staged a protest demonstration at the same site preventing the authority of getting possession of their land. Prominent amongst affectees’ leaders present on the occasion were Naeem Khan, Akseer Mughal, Malik Jamshed, Basharat Khan Awan, Kashif Qureshi, Malik Mustafa, Malik Zubair, Malik Ghulam Dastgir and others.
