2 of a family killed in Mansehra road mishap

MANSEHRA: Two members of a family were killed and three others sustained injuries when a motorcar hit a roadside safety wall due to overspending in the Ichrian area of the district on Tuesday.

“We have shifted all five seriously injured people, where doctors pronounced two of them dead, and the rest were referred to a health facility in Abbottabad,” Muhammad Sami Khan, an official of Rescue 1122, told reporters.

The vehicle carrying members of a family was on the way to Abbottabad from Battle when the driver, while negotiating a sharp turn at high speed, lost control of the steering, which resulted in it hit roadside wall.The personnel of Rescue 1122 and locals rushed to the spot and shifted all five injured to King Abdullah Teaching hospital, where doctors pronounced Tahiruddin, 30, and Zainab Bibi, 5, dead.
