RAWALPINDI: The Special Anti-Terrorism Court of Rawalpindi has issued notices to the parties on two petitions filed by the PTI seeking restoration of the frozen account of Shaukat Khanum Hospital and permission to meet PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.

In the petition filed against the freezing of the Shaukat Khanum Hospital account, Aleema Khanum argued that the court’s order regarding the seizure of her personal account was misinterpreted, resulting in the hospital’s account being frozen as well.

She said this has stopped the delivery of medicines.

The court admitted the petition for hearing, issued a notice to the prosecution, and fixed the hearing for Saturday.

Meanwhile, in another petition filed by the former PTI chairman’s sisters Aleema Khanum and others including Salman Akram Raja, it was contended that they should be allowed to meet Imran in Adiala Jail. They stated that the hearing of the GHQ attack case is scheduled for December 3, for which consultation with the former chairman is essential.
