Dear Ed,
In the ‘Bits ‘n’ pieces’ section of the 8 May issue of Us, I learned something very interesting: Orient Airways was the predecessor of PIA. I always assumed that PIA was born with Pakistan, and it just goes to show how much ignorance exists among the youth about their own country. I request you to reserve the ‘Did you know’ segment for facts about Pakistan, especially since 14 August is just a couple of months away.
Ed, I love nature and envy those who live in places where there’s a lot of greenery. As a Karachiite, I seldom see flowers in bloom, so the cover story of 15 May issue, ‘In bloom’, by Sameen Amer really wowed me. Lucky Lahoris!

Dear Editor,
I read ‘After silicon’ by Ana Imran in the issue of 8 May. Ed, I think it was very informative, but the problem was that most of it went over my head. I simply couldn’t understand it. I know Us is for readers of all types, but I think the content should be such that everyone can understand it.
On the other hand, ‘The stains we sip daily - coffee, chai and the pressure to stay white’ by Dr Inaya Junaid was very pertinent and written in layman’s language.
My point is that all stories need to be easy to understand, and relatable to readers of all kinds. Hope you understand my point.

Query
Dear Editor,
I hope this email finds you well. I love expressing my thoughts through writing. I have a dream of sharing my work with the world. I am currently working on an article about hope and resilience, and I would be delighted if you would consider it for publication in the magazine. I believe it carries a meaningful message that could connect with readers, especially young people facing challenges today.
However, I am curious. I know many people are willing to share their stories and ideas with the magazine, so I wanted to ask whether I might also have a chance.
I look forward to your reply.
Zunairah Noor, Islamabad
You certainly have a chance. Please send your contribution for consideration. Best of luck with your article!
