Karachi witnessed a night of glamour, excitement and zombie-inspired fun as Zombeid, Pakistan’s first zombie horror-comedy, premiered at Nueplex Cinemas last month on May 26. Starring Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat, the film tells the story of a zombie outbreak across the city of Karachi, which traps a group of gym-goers in a fitness club. Directed by Nabeel Qureshi, produced by Fizza Ali and presented by Geo Films, the film’s premiere night was a rare night for cinema as a strong contingent of celebrities and industry insiders came out to support the film.
