Students display artistic skills

MARDAN: The final year students of Textile Design, Communication Design, Interior Design and Fine Arts (Painting) displayed their research and creative thesis projects at the ninth graduation exhibition organized by Pakhtunkhwa College of Arts, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.

A communication said Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Jamil Ahmed inaugurated the event on Monday which concluded on Tuesday. Vice-Chancellor Women University Mardan, Prof Dr Razia Sultana attended the event as a special guest.

The ceremony was attended by Principal Pakhtunkhwa College of Arts Professor Fazal Sattar Durrani, Nida Andaleeb Khattak, Asfandyar Effendi, faculty members, students, personalities associated with fine arts and distinguished guests.

The judges of the exhibition were Saiftun, Ajmalin and Haider Ali.Dr Jamil Ahmed said that art and design are important pillars of cultural identity, creative thinking and intellectual development of any society.
