Clean water is becoming increasingly difficult to access in many urban and rural areas. Rapid population growth, climate change, inefficient irrigation practices, leaking water supply systems and the careless use of water have worsened the situation. Many families face daily shortages, while agriculture and industry also suffer due to declining water resources. If this trend continues, the country may face a severe water crisis in the coming years.
The government should invest in modern water storage facilities, repair old distribution networks and promote rainwater harvesting. At the same time, citizens must avoid wasting water and adopt conservation practices in their homes and workplaces. Educational campaigns can also help.
