I would like to draw attention to the urgent need for the rehabilitation of the N-95 road in Kalam, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I fully support the recent demand made by the chief minister for the completion of the flood-damaged sections of this important highway. The road serves as a lifeline for the residents of Swat and is the main route for tourists visiting Kalam and its surrounding areas. The devastating floods of 2022 damaged several portions of the road and major sections still await permanent restoration.
I request the authorities to complete rehabilitation work before the tourist season ends. Timely action will improve public safety, strengthen the local economy and promote tourism in one of Pakistan’s most beautiful regions.
