Frequent power outages have become a major source of inconvenience for residents of many rural areas in Pakistan. Students find it difficult to study during the evening hours, especially during examinations. Hospitals and clinics struggle to provide uninterrupted healthcare services, while small businesses suffer financial losses due to disruptions in their daily operations. Farmers are also adversely affected because tube wells and irrigation systems depend heavily on a reliable electricity supply.

The situation worsens during the summer season when high temperatures make life unbearable without fans, air conditioners and proper lighting. Prolonged loadshedding not only affects people’s comfort but also hampers economic activities and overall development. Electricity is an essential requirement of modern life. Therefore, the government and relevant authorities should take immediate steps to improve power infrastructure, reduce outages and ensure a stable electricity supply for all communities.
