LAHORE:A man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head inside a parked car on Ring Road in Defence C area, prompting police to launch an investigation into whether the incident was a suicide or homicide.
The personnel from Ring Road Police were on routine patrol when they spotted a suspicious white vehicle parked by the roadside.On checking, they found a man identified as Adil lying dead inside the car with a gunshot wound to the head. Police said a pistol was also recovered from the vehicle.
A police uniform was found inside the car, bearing a nameplate of ‘Tahir Sub-Inspector’, raising further questions about the circumstances of the incident.The body was shifted to a morgue.
