I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities and the public towards the growing issue of harassment in our society. Harassment has become a serious problem, especially in educational institutions, workplaces, public places and on social media platforms. Many people, particularly women and young individuals, face verbal abuse, bullying, stalking and online harassment on a daily basis. Such incidents create fear, insecurity and psychological stress among victims.
Despite existing laws, many cases go unreported due to fear of social stigma and lack of support. It is essential for authorities to enforce strict measures against offenders and ensure that victims receive proper protection and justice. Educational institutions and organisations should also conduct awareness programmes to promote respect and responsible behaviour. I request the concerned authorities to take immediate action to address this issue and create a safer environment for everyone.
