LAHORE:Punjab Board of Revenue has suspended the issuance of record-of-rights extracts (fard) for transactional purposes across most districts of the province with effect from July 1, 2026, according to an official notification issued on June 22.
The notification stated that the Green Property Certificate and Property Reports issued under the Punjab Land Records Authority (Management of Land Records) Regulations 2025 will serve as the only valid documents for land record transactions in these districts.
The order, issued under Section 41-A read with Section 20 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1967, and Rule 36-A of the Punjab Land Revenue Rules, 1968, will apply to all districts except Sahiwal, Hafizabad, and Lodhran.
Under the directive, no further ‘fard’ documents will be issued for land transactions in the affected districts from the effective date.The decision has been issued for general information and compliance by all authorities concerned.
