A large number of students, parents and teachers visited the 18th The News Education Expo 2026 at the Karachi Expo Centre on its concluding day on Sunday.

The event was organised by the Jang Group. More than 50 local and foreign universities, higher educational institutions and professional training centres had set up their stalls in the two-day educational exhibition.

Due to Sunday being a holiday, a large number of youths interested in higher education thronged the venue. The enthusiasm of the people was at its peak and thousands of students continued to seek guidance from representatives and teachers of various universities regarding admissions, scholarships, degree programmes and careers prospects.

The exhibition featured stalls from several prominent educational institutions including Szabist, Hamdard University, British Council, Higher Education Commission, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, Sohail University, Al-Kawthar University, FAST, UMT, UIT, Iqra University, Sukkur Institute of Business Administration, DHA Suffa University, Forman Christian College, Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology, Indus University, Fatima Business School and Diwan University.

The exhibition was well received by the students who termed it a very useful event for getting educational and professional guidance. They said such educational exhibitions should be held regularly twice a year.
