LAHORE:Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Tahir Farooq visited various development projects under way in the City here on Sunday.
He visited the Data Darbar Extension Project, Bhati Chowk Underpass and Railway Station project.Chief Engineer, Tepa, Iqrar Hussain and Chief Engineer Asrar Saeed gave a briefing. Development work was under way on the plaza and parking area of the Data Darbar Extension project. The finishing of the pedestrian underpass and work on the stairs on both sides was under way. Work was progressing rapidly on both the ramps of the under-construction Bhati Chowk Underpass. Work was under way on the walls, barrels and NJ barriers of the underpass.
Work was also being done on the drainage well and drain of the underpass simultaneously.The DG reviewed the quality of the ongoing development works on all aspects of the project. He directed that the underpass work should continue day and night without interruption. An international standard automated parking system will be installed in front of the railway station.
