These videos often appear realistic, making it difficult for ordinary users to distinguish between genuine and fabricated content. As a result, misinformation spreads rapidly and can influence public opinion based on false claims.
This can damage the reputation of individuals, create panic among communities and weaken trust in credible media organisations. I believe that media literacy and fact-checking awareness should be promoted at all levels.
