ALPURI: Five persons were injured when a jeep plunged into a ravine in the Lilonai Shalizara Larai area in Shangla district on Wednesday.
Rescue 1122 officials said emergency teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving reports of the accident. The rescue personnel, they said, provided first aid to the injured at the site before shifting them to the District Headquarters Hospital in Alpuri for further medical treatment.
Rescue officials said all injured persons received timely medical assistance. Meanwhile, Rescue 1122 Shangla urged motorists to exercise extreme caution while driving during the ongoing rainy season and adverse weather conditions. Officials advised drivers to maintain safe speeds and strictly follow traffic regulations to help prevent accidents and loss of life.
